Just to let you all know. All people that live in Northern Ireland are boycotting/blacklisting Argos for exculding us. I hope you do the same.0

Can't you pre order in store though? I need some new wardrobes and was thinking about buying the vouchers etc and then ordering for home delivery in store paying with the vouchers. I can do this right?

Yes you can Manchester_Lucy.
Ohhh and by the way, i also got my 3x£10 vouchers as well by doing 3 £100 transactions for vouchers!!!!But first, the most asked question:
Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"
A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."0 -
amb47uk wrote:been into argos today, you CANNOT buy £100 of vouchers and get £10 voucher free. Because when you then pay for the Actual item with vouchers you would get another £10.
Argos have covered this loophole.
Was gettin an xbox 360 and using my firends employee 10% off code.
i could only get 10% off and a £10 gift voucher
You should have argued that it doesn't state this in their T&C's;)0 -
amb47UK, the reason you encountered a problem was that you cannot get the 10% staff discount when yuo pay with Argos vouchers. everyone else (who doesn't have friends willing to break their terms of employment by giving you the discount) will be fine getting the vouchers with the iinitial purchase of voucheres and then again with the product purchase.

Were you able to do the separate transactions with the same person with no problem? I've looked up all my local Argos branches so I can go to different ones if needed
I get scared of their authority easily :embarasse

Hi, Manchester_Lucy, although the offer is now ended, for future reference the shop staff don't mind you splitting your purchases to take advantage of this offer, or if you want to buy vouchers in different batches to take advantage of a big purchase either.
It is only (VERY, VERY) annoying when there is a massive queue and someone gets to the till and THEN decides to spend the next ten minutes working out how to split their purchases to get the most vouchers, especially when you told them after about thirty seconds the best way/that they can't get more than one voucher with their particular items, no matter how long they look at it! Grrr.0 -
Thanks for that.
I managed to get the girl to split it but she got very confused with the offer and the fact that I needed to put it into separate transactions. She was very nice though. So in the end I got 3 lots of £100 and 1 £50, giving me £35 in bonus gift cards.

As far as I'm aware yes. They have removed it from their website. They may well do another one before christmas but I wouldn't like to say for sure.0
