please please dont let him bully you. the things he has are only stuff!! they can be replaced a some time. importantly, you dont have to answer to him any more.

if he keeps up this sort of thing, keep a detailed diary, starting with this last incident, then have him for harrassment.

most importantly, dont talk to him. ignore him. they hate that because they arent having an effect on someone. dont take phone calls from him, change your number!!!! any post comes for him, return to sender, as not known here. he doesnt exist any more.

i left someone like that after 37 years of marriage. he spent the next three years trying to intimidate me through the family or other people - he was so bad that even with an injunction out against him, he wouldnt stay away so i had to run away. he doesnt have my address but he didnt stop until he found the town i was living in.

they dont ever stop, you have to find a way to deal with it, with the police if necessary, and be hard. its the only way. good luck and let us know how you get on.xxxx
  • i know its only things, and i am fortunate that i have been able to replace the items (reciepts all locked away!!!!!!!) lol

its more the fact that he said he was going to make my life hell, and involved the police in his harrassng of me,

his father kicked in my door about a month ago, i called the police and no one even came out, which they did apoligise for but omg, he seems to get away with everything and knows the system inside out

i was naieve in letting him pay by cc , but i never thought he would do this to me at the time, we live and learn

police are not interested, so i have just made an appointment with a solicitor to se if anything can be done.
ect ect ect ect ect ect ooohhh the blood is boiling! :rotfl:

maybe you should think about moving??!! if he is involving his family as well, you should be involving the police!!!

also, install a cheap, very small cctv outside your place. you will have it all on camera.

and yes, see a solicitor first and foremost. but you must be made aware of the fact that people like him will totally ignore an injunction. in fact my ex went out of his way to prove that he could break the terms of the injunction, and nothing would be done. i had a pub at the time and he used to come and sit out side it and walked past it on a daily basis .xx
  • yes i am moving, trying hard to save enough to get away, i have involved the police as he was getting his family to knock on me, nothing was done,

i have just spoken with my solicitor who has advised me that he thinks we should sue the police for theft of my items and other things (of course i explained everything to my solicitor, and just outlined it here)

i am seeing him next week and we will take it from there.
