  • Morning,

I have had another bit of joy on this challenge - I come across a purse of euros that I had completely forgot about, put it together with the dollars I had to change back - £88.42 altogether so chuffed!

Added to my copper and 5ps amount that is 194.42 altogether. I haven't included the mobile phone recycle total until I get it into my account.

    :j:j

No doubt this will be where it all come to a stand still!!!

For all the people who list things on Ebay, are these all items you have laying around at home? You all seem to list quite a lot. I'd like to do some ebaying but I'm a bit nervous as I've never done it, plus I don't think I have that much stuff.

    Hi,

yes the majority is stuff laid around, toys the kids have outgrown - though the house never seems to look any tidier:o

I'm hooked now though I do go through phases with it, my theory is the stuff you think won't sell is the stuff that goes for the most:rolleyes::rolleyes: Just give it a go, anything under 99p is free to list anyway so you won't get charged listing fees, just start off with a few bits and build up!!!

I've made £20.10p so far today -10p on scratchcard and £20 off my Nana (am I ok to count this????)

Welcome Dex, glad to have you on board, I've now added your name to the passenger list of HMS Letsmakesomedosh. :D

Glad to read of some successes so far and I'm pleased to say that I have made a start, at last! :j A whole £10 withdrawn from free scratchcards account, leaving 20p in there towards next lot. I have listed a couple of items on eBid but think I'm going to have to try eBay. I need to start cranking this up a gear as my 'everything else' spending is going to increase dramatically when I treat my hens & ducks to some nice new housing. :o (MUST earn more extra so I can spend more extra.)

Keep up the good work. :)
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

  • Can you please add me - if I am not doing a challenge I won't stick to it! Means I have to fess up if I get lazy!

Got £25 cash Friday from a research panel and £10 for a mystery shop on Thu. It's a start!

Thanks Lola! I had a sort through the wardrobe and found a few bits so I'm going to give it a go.

Haven't had anymore luck with the challenge but I've recently started doing a bit of extra work designing websites and I may have a paid job coming up - will this count?
