Ooh Pepe, I'd love to go to Lindisfarne. I wanted to go this month for a couple of days, but everything else has taken over.
My GP must be the only one in the country where it's currently easier to get an appointment than it was before Swine Flu! I got one last week no problem, and if I phone up on Wednesday morning I should get one with my usual GP on Thursday. Last time I saw her I had to wait over a week. The phone appointment thing is done at ours as routine (ie they do it when they can be bothered). I find it useful for things like needing to make my prescription's been changed after a consultant visit or getting a letter or update on referrals. But anything where they need to see you it's a bit pointless.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I've just done a gorgeous meal (a bit luxurious though) for myself. Pasta, with chorizo, sun dried tomatoes and sliced olives. It was lush, although I made a bit too much!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

well, I've had a productive day. Not. I've spent the day watching Sapphire and Steel in you tube (haven't seen them since I was 9 or 10), falling asleep at my desk for 30 minutes and then playing on the wii.
Oh well, it's the first Monday I've had off in 3 months so stuff it."Stay Wonky":D

spinners bowl more slowly (and generally have shorter run in), relying on the spin of the ball so it is less physically demanding than being a fast bowler (and accurate) who generally takes a long run in and flings the ball at around 90kph...
wah wah wah wah wah wah wah........still no wiser...
A lad who I used to walk to school with every day, spent a whole school year trying to teach me the rules and regs of cricket......:o still no wiser....he was lovely though.
