Afternoon, finally back from my slightly tiring weekend, I've done around 8 hours driving and two 5k runs in the last 3 days, so feel a bit tired this afternoon, but had a lovely time at Bunny's, and ran a personal best at RFL. :)

Love life still a shambles though.

Lou, my parents used to go away to France for a fortnight and let me stay at home alone when I was 16 (in fact at 17, they let my 15 year old sister stay at home with me too). I loved it, and was more than capable of looking after myself. :D

I have been to see my Great Nephew Connor - who lives in Exeter....2 and a half hours there and 2 and a half hours back.....a 2 hour visit in the middle....

My sister was desperate for me to go and see them, as my lazy bone idle selfish parents just cannot be bothered...honestly me and my sister may as well just not exist as far as my dad is concerned. My mother just doesn't drive (well she does but only up the road and back). I am really the only other family my sister has....

I am really behind with work now though....

I have had stand up battles with OH who still (although he wouldnt dare admit to it) thinks that a womans place is in the home and she can have a job so long as it doesnt interfere too much with his planns.

Lou - your OH sounds like mine (who is still complaining btw:mad:) except I can have a life so long as it doesn't interfere too much with his plans...

Perhaps you should try the 'Are you planning on having a heart attack today because I would like to shopping in the afternoon?' approach to his 'health problems?
