 sorry for the rant but I am hopping mad

took MIL for a grocery shop and she made a comment about how I leave the boys at lunch time to fend for themselves and I should be looking after them as they are "my family".

Now the boys are 14 and 16 and are more than capable of making beans on toast or a sandwich for themselves and I was not put on this earth to be a effing servent.

Oh and apparantly I should put my family before my job..........she hasnt got an effing clue.

The irony in all of this is that I was taking HER grocery shopping when I should have been looking after my ikkle wikkle boys.

I think steam is going to come out of my ears I really do:mad:

Pah! Just screwed up my courage and told Mm about PND. Within 15mins I was in no doubt she had it much worse with me, that it probably wasn't PND just worrying about no job and about a million suggestions what to do to get over it:cool: What happened to 'oh dear, that's not good. Wish I could give you a cuddle' ?:mad:

Hi Bookie - glad you're relaxing. Think Sammy had a lot of work to catch up on after 3 trips to hospital this week so is probably staying away to avoid distractions. Either that or she's gone to DD's for a cuppa;)

Luc that is one of the reasons why I dont tell my family anything :o

I just said that it didnt do any child any favours for Mummy to run up their !!!!!! to the point of making up cups of diluting juce and putting it in the fridge ready for them (I kid you not, she used to do that for OH until he was about 25)

I have had stand up battles with OH who still (although he wouldnt dare admit to it) thinks that a womans place is in the home and she can have a job so long as it doesnt interfere too much with his planns.

I shall stop now cause I am getting myself upset

you all know how I worry about juggling my work and my boys, they are my life and I dont think I have done a bad job:o
