    Evening all,

    Really tired today - very busy at work. Didn't have time to post.

    I have started a weekly list on my thread to keep me on the straight and narrow and work towards to achieving those goals.

    Today I have/will:
    • [STRIKE]daily scratchie[/STRIKE] - 10p
    • [STRIKE]Cheap lunch at work[/STRIKE] £2 (shame about the coffee:o)
    • [STRIKE]post ebay item[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Contact ex-tenant and ask him to collect his stuff[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Chase council tax office re my appeal[/STRIKE] it seems that the Council Tax office like to lie! I have been told it will take 2-3 weeks; 3-4 weeks and 4-6 weeks to deal with my letter. Thye can't even tell me if it has been read. The council's service standards say that I should have a response in 10 days! A complaint is coming!
    • Work on complaint
    • [STRIKE]Washing HC[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Sort filing pile - REALLY need to do this[/STRIKE] Started
    • Photograph 10 things for Ebay
    • 30 mins tidying in bedroom
    • 20 mins walk - will get milk while I am out
    • [STRIKE]Sort smalls - huge pile that need to move to the bedroom[/STRIKE] Started
    Right - better get on.

    my council tax office are three months behind on answering mail. I went in, spent 15 mins talking to a guy and got all my charges taken off. Payments went to 12 months instead of 10 and got my single person discount backdated. Might be worth trying to see them in person?

    It's really hard as I work full time and can't get there during normal hours. I don't think that the council has extended hours. But I willl think about going in - I have a day off for an interview next week.
  • bit late posting, but better late then never i guess :rolleyes:

    Today I have.....

    * eaten at parents house :D
    * checked online banking
    * updated spreadsheets
    * lined up another viewing on my rented house (moving someone cheaper as soon as replacment found for my room)
    * made sure meal planner on track for rest of week

    Did manage to spend £2.50 on lunch at work as forgot to take somethig in. Have only allowed myself £5.00 this week for spends, so already blown half the budget and the sarnie wasn't even that nice. Grrrrrr!

    Thanks SM and Fay - I'm planning on using the money to get him a headboard and any leftover will go to the Isle of Wight fund for next month. Woo-hoo!

    BTW ladies and gents with DDs - Phunkygal has just put a post on the cinema thread for cinema tickets for Bandslam. Just got some for me and B, and it has teenage girl heaven written all over it!:j

    My DD (nearly 18) is treating me to the cinema tonight as she wants to see the Harry Potter film, going to a late showing though so hopefully it won't be full of kids hyped up on the pick and mix and buckets of coke:rolleyes:
