    that made me laugh :D
(Don't spoil it for me by telling me the real story :rotfl:)

    Today I have/will:
    • banked the cheque for the piano finally sold (this one has been running since Easter!) They collect on Thursday :D
    • NSD :D:D
    • brought in packed lunch
    • claimed on the insurance, sent the fax this am, got a message at lunchtime that they're sending the vouchers today - that's FAST :D And they were happy with my explanation that I valued my HM stock as "fresh stock" and my HM meals at ready meal prices. They don't care that we ate the stuff, as we only ate it because we had to. (I'd thought they would only pay out if we chucked it :D)
    • Bought masses of books for Christmas pressies at the half price Borders sale on Saturday - so will update present list accordingly.
    • will do some more de-cluttering tonight - and maybe take some photos with DS2's camera so I can e-bay stuff
    • charged phone at work
    • scratch'n'click
    • on-line banking
A longer list than I'd thought!

Hi everyone - what a grey miserable day, hope it improves soon. Hugs to poorly people - especially babyhead and DS. T and B are much improved today, in fact we have managed to leave the house :j!

    1) Took kids to the park for a picnic and took stale bread to feed the ducks. A nice, cheap day out I thought.

    2) Except..... the park is opposite Tesco and I popped in to get a roll, and spent £22. :o I must remember for the rest of the holidays that supermarket + 2 kids = no money left.

    3) Dinner will be a huge reduced macaroni cheese from Tesco, and I will make a banana loaf with overripe bananas whilst the oven is on.

    5) I bought a hat from Accessorise for £1. Very nice it is too.

    6) SC x 10p

    7) Online survey and some comps.

My best news however is saving me a load of money. I have been selling things to raise money to buy T a bed ( £55 raised so far...) but we are now getting one for free! A family friend called out of the blue to say they are getting bunk beds for their spare room to accommodate their grandchildren and would T like their spare bed?:j:j:jIt has been used on a handful of occassions by their grandson and has storage underneath - exactly what I have been looking at. I'm really, really chuffed, and a bit surprised at how it fell into our lap at just the right time. Good freecycle karma , I reckon.:D
