Oh Diva I so hope Tristan comes through this I will pray to St Jude for you and hope for the best

Crikey its been ages since I've posted on here. We've been mega busy with the garden and decorating the living room.OH has been off work on hols for the last fortnight so I've been doing all the heavy jobs. We've rearranged the garden and got rid of loads of clutter.I've recycled my sons wooden sandpit into a raised bed which is now full of lettuce, chard and summer cabbage.I scrounged some old tyres on freecycle and have filled them with compost and planted spuds in them.Once they start to stick their heads above the ground I'll stick another tyre on and top off with compost again. This should give us some bigger spuds and new spuds later in the year.Hopefully Christmas.OH and I low carb and have done for 12months so I dont want to over plant spuds that only the kids will eat.I want him to dig me a new veg bed so I can get some brussels, winter cabbage etc planted for winter.

On the decorating front I cant believe he has finally got his backside in gear.My OH is not terribly keen on DIY so my Living Room had become a disgrace. But finally he must have been shamed into it and we've stripped the walls and the paintwork.I've got a new suite, a corner suite which the kids love as they can all sit together and annoy each other:D.When its finished if it turns out as well as it should do I'll post some pics

On an OS front I have had the house in turmoil with clutter everywhere so very little achieved.I have cooked everyday and kept up with the washing and ironing so not too bothered

MSD - sorry to hear about Tritan, he seemed to be doing so well to. Hope you get some good news soon.

Up early to take foster cat to vet. Settled her in, and took the children as a treat to McDonalds for pancakes, as we didn't have breakfast before we left. Made the mistake of going into Next into the Retail Park - £15 later we came out.

Got home and vet phoned to say cat is dehydrated, and needs to go on a drip for today, and they will keep her in and hopefully operate on her tomorrow. Hope she is ok, am really worried for her. For those of you who don't know she is an old lady (between 15-18), deaf, got cancer on her ears, a possible brain tumour, and is now having all her teeth removed due to chronic ginigivitus! We've fostered her for the last couple of months, and we love her to bits, she is such a loving happy cat given all she has wrong with her. Anyway, fingers crossed everything will go well.

OS - ummmmmm, not a lot to report today! I have said it before that I feel a bit of a fraud on here, but I do so enjoy reading and get a lot of inspiration.

    Afternoon all

Diva - saying a prayer for Tristan and you too, you must be so worried (((Hugs))). Please let us know if you hear anything.

It was my first day back at work today after my holidays and it was absolutely manic. I knew that we would be busy but we had 25 phone calls just about swine flu in the first couple of hours! Our poor GP's are really stretched at the moment with probably alot more to come!

Chicken for tea with corn on the cob and potato wedges, nice and easy!

    Have a good evening everyone

    Evening Everyone

MSD - sending positive thoughts Tristans way.

Haribo - (((hugs))) for DD, it always amazes me how quickly children heal.

Have fingers crossed for you Ladyshopper.

Didnt have time to post this morning as was busy preparing the picnic for our day at the beach. Had a lovely time, the sun went in this afternoon but it was still nice down there and hardly any people around. Spent less than £10 too :j

Just about to go and start dinner, rice cooked with leftover chicken, nice and easy. Tomorrow was meant to be a day in but need to deliver some lorry parts first thing so have had to rearrange my tesco's delivery.

Think will try and take the dogs for a long walk after dinner.

Oh and OH did really well at the bootsale again - £100. DD's has a large wardrobe and hadnt been cleared out for sometime, so now have more money for our hols and nice n tidy wardrobes - bonus.
