    Afternoon Everyone!
Just popped on before going to w**k :( - only a short shift today thank god! Cant seem to shift myself - woke up feeling really unwell and with coughing and sneezing combined I hope I have not caught anything! I felt unwell at the party I went to last night and was home by 11pm. Managed to tidy up around before heading off - Bacon, Eggs and HM chips when I come home tonight - hate wishing I was home before leaving for work - but I guess its the same for everyone (well - most!) must try and finish cross-stitching tonight! (hopefully!)

Hope everyone has a good afternoon :)

  • Nothing from Montana yet. Am hoping they got hold of our friend or his wife (she has been on holiday with her sister and the kids for a week or so, and wasn't due back for a few days) but it is only 0600 now - it was the middle of his night when it happened, so probably all cell phones were turned off.

Anyway, I will come back as soon as I can get through on the phone or get an email and let everyone know.

Thank you thank you thank you all for your messages of support and kind thoughts for him - it means a lot.

    Afternoon all.

Not caught up on the weekend's threads, so I hope everyone had a good w/end.

Picked five and a half pounds of blackcurrants on Saturday, and spent ages topping'n'tailing them, regaled by some old recordings of radio shows like "Just A Minute and "Quote Unquote" that Mr LW found lurking in the loft. Finally made the jam yesterday - 16 pots of it!

Had a phone call this morning from the dog-sitting service - I have my first canine guest booked in for 16th to 23rd August. I can't wait!:j:j:j

Washing is on the line (must go and see if any is dry in a moment), and BM is on to make dough for bread rolls.

((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today, and sending special healing vibes for Tristan.

    Afternoon all.

I haven't logged in since 9am yesterday morning so have still got to catch up with yesterday.

Diva Prayers said for Tristan and you & thinking about you xxx

Haribo I gather one of your daughters have injured their leg. ((Hugs)) for her poor thing.

I've had a busy morning doing the usual clean through, washing, cooking & sorting out of the kids but all peaceful now as DH has taken 3 of them out for a long walk with the dog :T DS2 is out with some friends so I'm enjoying the peace.

Lunch was soup & HM garlic bread (I used a packet of pizza base mix that had been in the cupboard for ages ;)) and dinner this evening is spaghetti carbonara - we're going to smell very garlicky by tonight :rotfl: The menu plan including lunches is working well so far as it keeps me on track with whats been eaten and stops uneccessary picking & snacking by the kids - well thats the plan anyway!

Not much else to do here today so I might get an hour with my book if I'm lucky.

Love to anyone who needs some extra at the moment.

    Louise xxx
