Anyone's LO's sleep with their eyes open? Keira does sometimes as does both my sisters, scares me!

Yup, me and Rhys both do.. OH finds it very scary! :o
Looking into buying a bicycle, with a seat at the back for Keira, not sure how safe they are though? Just with her starting nursery,it will be a 20min + walk each way, I'll have to do that twice, or get the bus (I'm lazy) but i dont wanna be payin £3 a day in busfares, I'd rather cycle there and back with her, as that will cut it down to 5mins each way. Otherwise I'll be dropping her off, walk back, have about an hour or so, then have to head out again. Annoying!

Ask on FreeCycle, for the bike and the seat, before you go buy one :)

He's probably not gone back off because he had a good long unbroken sleep.

How do you check what percentile your child is on?

I've got Keira's red book in front of me, I'm presuming the bright red line means 50th centile? Her height is on the dotted one below that and her weight is slightly above the average.

You know, it really bothers me what they marked it as, it's stupid and irrational I know, but I've always had weight problems and I don't want her too. I don't even know how she could be above average on weight as if she turns sideways she'll dissapear.

When I got home I measured and weighed her, and they marked her as 15.5kg but she is only 14.7kg and she is 2 cms higher than what they marked her down as too. I sound like a right freak, but I know fine my scales are right as at the doctors it's exactly the same.
I don't think it's anything to worry about if she is slightly above average for weight and below average for height. Very few people are average and everyone has different shapes which are healthy for them. It doesn't sound like there's a huge difference between them anyway - Alice has a bigger difference the other way round and I've never thought she's too thin or underweight.

:rotfl: We got the seat which the bike shop recommended. You also need a cycle helmet for the child. Our shed is so full that I can't get the bike out at the moment but I only go along quiet roads in the village and along old railway lines (there's loads round here because it's a former mining area) - I don't go on any busy roads.

Bob has got his own facebook profile :o

Thanks for sharing all the doggy pictures everyone. I love dogs :)

what do you and your OHs do together?

We go out together when I get couples only meal visits for mystery shopping. It's a free/low cost night out depending on what we order.

We go to the match sometimes with the boys but that's expensive these days. Other times we'll watch film or footy on TV together, and we run a website so that takes up quite a bit of time. Footy season starts on Saturday :D
Here I go again on my own....

Me and Oh just watched a movie called Mirrors, has kiefer sutherland in it (my eye candy) but omg it was SO CREEPY, ending was a bit stupid though. Think I'm going to have nightmares.

Keifer Sutherland is my second cousin once removed :) or something like that, maybe it's even third cousin, I dunno; my dad was at the same wedding as some of the Sutherlands like 40 years ago, is all I know :p

Ohh wow! Maybe it could set a new routine for him! :D Although I guess he's a bit young and small to go that long between feeds generally. Must've been nice though!

Spent the morning so far being supportive of Elijah's cup usage, he is totally capable of picking up a normal non-sippy cup and drinking from it! However for reasons best known to himself he also likes to put objects into cups, therefore any food he is given gets dunked, and then puts his whole arms in there to try to get it back out again... usually end result is him tipping the cup upside down to get everything out!
