Thanks for the recommendation Becles - I used to live not far from there. It is a beautiful part of the world isn't it?
It is beautiful. At the time, my ex was being a knob and causing all sorts of bother, so I was stressed up to the eyeballs. Went up there and my mobile phone didn't work, so I was totally cut off from everything and had a lovely relaxing week. Did the Fort William to Mallaig train as I adore stream trains and the scenery was stunning. It was a lovely day and all the lochs were still and looked like mirrors - beautiful. Went up to the top of one of the other mountains in the cable car which the boys thought was really exciting and they posted a postcard to my parents at the top as it's the highest postbox in the UK! Did a trip over to Tobemory as James was crackers on Balamory at the time, and visited a castle near Oban but I forget the name and the Oban seal sanctury where we fell in love with all the seals.
Joshua is into selling now. He broke his mobile and it hasn't been looked after so I said he could buy himself a new one. He saw one on special offer, so I said I would buy it at the special offer price, but he has to pay back every penny. He's been sorting his room out today and he's got a pile of stuff to go on my ebay account later. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Saying that... I should pop and see if the dollhouse I'm flogging has gone higher than 99p yet...
I mostly sell at BIN on ebay but I prefer selling face to face. Before Darach was born I was employed as a sales manager after spending over 10 years working my way up from sales rep in Hygiene.
I highly recommend what I do, it means I work my own hours, and can spend as much time as poss with my kids plus I love the banter and customers.0 -
Hi everyone!
Just back from Blair Drummond safari park, was good fun! I felt sick in the car though, and the boat in the park. I don't travel well!
Keira is absaloutely SHATTERED, but will still not give in and have a 30min nap, or better yet, the whole night haha.
Think I've caught the sun as my arms are looking a lovely lobster red.0 -

I just keep buying stuff
I have loads of stuff to sell but just can't find the enthusiasm0 -
At least its not just me then sami
MrsM, my FIL does bootsales - he buys all the plants that are dying from the garden centre for 10p, takes cuttings etc... and makes up beautiful hanging baskets. He makes quite a bit of money from it too
Only trouble is, there are very few bootsales on in the winter, so I suppose thats when ebay would kick in ?

I'm reading and following you guys, just feel a bit low and not really like I've got anything to contribute. Thanks for thinking of me thoughStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Gonna stay on but go between here and the ironing board. Ben has nothing to wear as I just realised OH has put everything from the last week in the ironing even the things that don't need it if carefully folded, they now look like I've trampled them.(and he thought he was helping!)Too many children, too little time!!!0
