tia to be honest i thought the gran was loving it ... like it was a second chance to be mum again ... a real mother would make there child be a mother ... if they can make a child they can bl00dy well look after it x

sami it was a new one x

I agree. And I'll tell you something else, I'd have been kicked out, pregnant or not (I was still at home when pregnant with DS1) if I had not done a washing or whatever my mum had asked me to do.

Different parenting ideas I guess. I can't really talk (kids room)... The other one seemed to be doing great though.

Thats the one with the baby sneezing a snot bubble that MFD mentioned t'other day and cousin tom from corrie (who incidentally is a friend of a friend )

I have Keira's CTF at the Halifax as Bank of Scotland joined with Halifax and it was all I knew! I think it's rubbish though, I believe the money is in "stocks" so it's actually LOWER now than when it first went in.

Still no poop, but lots of straining.....I'm keeping her awake until it comes out!

    Evening all

I haven't been watching the teenage mums thing, in fact I haven't been watching much tv at all...

I have been busy though sorting things out finances/clutter/kids etc... I haven't read right back, but did skim read a few pages. The pension thing jumped out at me, I MAY have a look into that, the only thing that concerns me is dh once worked with a guy who's dad was in pensions/finance sector and he had told his son (this guy dh worked with) to NEVER pay into a pension because out of all the investments it is possible to pay into, pensions are the worst!! Hmmm I still kinda like the idea though, so may investigate.

Kids - Well I have taught(ds2) and re-taught(ds1) to ride a bike over the last few days, so I think we will be getting ds1 a nice new bike for christmas:) Kai has decided today, he is bored of just sitting in his walker playing with the toys and musical things on the front, so has decided to start scooting around the room in it!!!!

I have been having too many late nights and am shattered, so planning on an early one tonight...we'll see if it actually happens

I have sent my congrats to em on facebook, but will check here for more details - dates, how it come about etc...

    Mel x
