switching tariffs
I'm currently with npower and after entering details into the moneysupermarket.com detailed search I was told I could make a saving of £200 a year by switching to a different tariff with npower.
Can I do this via the website to get the cashback or is that not allowed if you are already a customer with the company offering a lower tariff?

That is exactly what I did about a year ago, going from normal to on-line 10.
I just spoke to the lady on the phone and she transferred me onto the cheaper tariff.
I believe the cheapest one with N power is on-line 16, so I'll have to make another call.
I don't think you would benefit with the cashback site as you are already an existing customer.0 -

The comparison site will tell you if you can switch via them; if you can, you should get the cashback."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
