Welcome princess lou - there's that old saying - you can check in any time you like but you can never leave :rotfl:Welcome. As others have said, start of gently. I've stuck a christmas tree by your name to remind me to add you to the list when I log in as my alter ego.

Great news on the salon Jo. Do we know when Toots is going back? If so, maybe we could all book ourselves a little treat at the same time, so we can have a virtual flylady spa day! (Any excuse for some pampering rather than flying :p)

I'm working my way through my team's mid-year reviews (slowly... I'm doing them properly seeing as they're the last ones I'll do for them!), and keeping an eye on what they're up to on facebook too!

Ooo my neck of the woods, did you say where you were going (I bet I missed it skim reading earlier)

I am going to the Owen? building at the SHU - it is a large tower block - 10th floor no less..... if they don't have a lift I will spend the course time in hospital as I will be way to puffed!!! It is supposed to be in walking distance from the Castle Square stop on the tram. I will be there on Thursday as well - 2 day course on how to cope with having a student!!

HOWEVER!! The Salon have come up trumps......they have booked Toots in for all of her treatments COMPLIMENTARY. Also, as they beauty salon is upstairs, they have arranged for Toots to come in early and will make her a cup of tea etc, giving her time to relax and catch her breath back before her treatments start, so she isnt going into them already in a tizzy. They are also sending her out an appointment card to confirm that this is a definite and there will be no mistakes this time!

Great news Jo - it is a shame that you will miss the big event but Toots wil have a great time - it sounds like they will look after her on the day.

Right I have helped DS with a draft of his Uni Statement so he has gone off to type this so I shall get on with some work. I think I will try and clear in front of the TD as the wet washng needs to be dried - this is a mountainous job so I may be gone some while.............

Hope Toots enjoys the manicure and beauty treats!

and a belated happy birthday (revolution) to you Froddington!

I have just been sent home by my boss, who seems to think I am not well. He may be right because having arrived back at home, in addition to cleaning the oven, mopping all the floors and cleaning the kitchen, I have just hung up a load of dry washing! Wet washing is still in the machine!
