Expenses done... incredibly painful as the system is not at all user-friendly! Still, that's £150 I should hopefully get back sometime soon!

There's still lots on my list, but I think I'll have a break for a cup of something (probably fennel tea...) and maybe a bit of flying to take my mind off work!

It was so stupid - in my frantic cleaning I appears that I turned a washer thing on the door where the hinges go into the fixing. anyway when I went back to look at it now I am a little calmer I noticed that they looked different. I simply turned it around and it works....... I am such a dunce with things like this......:doh:

Right - tea and breakfast then time to crack on.
I think I will get DS to clear in front of TD so that I can get yesterdays washing dry.

Toots Wish List Update......

Ok, as you call know, I travelled to Perth on my way home at the weekend and organised for Toots to have a luxury manicure at a very well known Salon in town.

When we got there, the girl who had booked the appointment had made a mess of the booking and Toots ended up going without. They were unable to rearrange appointments and there was nothing they could do and we had to leave. Toots was visibly upset and I was across between wanting to rage at the staff and cry for Toots.

However, the manager was out to lunch when this had happened at 1.30 and she called me to offer Toots vouchers by means of apology as they were truly upset that this had happened. (They have a very good reputation which they wanted to protect). Anyway, I said I would call back to sort an appointment time for Toots when I knew when I would be back and Toots would be out of hospital etc.

Originally I was going to treat Toots to her manicure, unbeknown to her, and as they were sending out vouchers for her manicure, I thought I would book her in for the pedicure too (so she couldnt chicken out) and her eyebrows, as she mentioned those in a previous post. I thought she could use the vouchers for the manicure and I would pay for the pedicure and the eyebrows.

HOWEVER!! The Salon have come up trumps......they have booked Toots in for all of her treatments COMPLIMENTARY. Also, as they beauty salon is upstairs, they have arranged for Toots to come in early and will make her a cup of tea etc, giving her time to relax and catch her breath back before her treatments start, so she isnt going into them already in a tizzy. They are also sending her out an appointment card to confirm that this is a definite and there will be no mistakes this time!

I've rung Toots and made her aware of the plans.....she is delighted that they have come up trumps and is looking forward to it....again!

Shes wanted to share her good news with you all so you can get excited for her.

the funny thing is jo i can do other peoples ironing but hate doing mine lol
well i did it but 4 things went back in the wash cos they smelt rank but were washed and dried the same but blerugghh
going to take dd to her friends and have an hour with my friend now ..yesterday i took dd to jungle mania which is just down the road and it was a pound to get in but today will be packed cos of the rain ..back later nev xx
