Ummm, I'm not a 'proper' flylady person, BUT over on the declutter thread kind Fedupandskint says that flyladies have all sorts of good ways of helping to declutter the house. Mine is in an advanced state of CHAOS, over which OH and I are somewhat at loggerheads at present(all my stuff, not his). I can't get near any flat surfaces to clean them as covered in stuff. Please: where do I find basic flylady decluttering advice ? I do admire you all !!

Okay I have done 2 x HHIs and reloaded the WM with towels as I prefer them to dry in the TD anyway. The rest of the washing can wait until it's drier outside providing we do have another suuny day - I knew I should have done more washing yesterday but I didn't want the ironing to pile up. I've still got some ironing left to do but hopefully another HHI later on should sort that. I need to put the clothes away now though which I hate - some can go straight for packing though.

DH has rung and said he's hoping to be home for 11.30 so I haven't got a lot of time to do anything.

    Anyway, anyone fancy a HHC 8.15 - 8.45?

    Well done Elf!

Congrats on the avatar toots :D

Raining here too... but I need to go for a quick walk to post a birthday card. I'll do that, then have breakfast. I might (just might, mind you) go into the gym this morning to use the treadmill and maybe go to a Pilates class or two. I really need to get back into a routine with pilates and yoga...

I also hope to make some progress on my lists ;)

ETA - welcome morganlefay... instructions are in post one, and lots of people will have suggestions. Generally we have decluttering in level one (clear the surfaces, clear the floors!), and in the 'extras' e.g. binbag dance, fling, fill a bag for charity, list on ebay, freecycle etc. Some people (AnW's mum for example ;)) also have them as their weekly challenge.

I see I have been put up as an example by Greenbee! Sould be an example in how NOT to be a flylady :rotfl: Although I shall be a good girl and do a HHC on the RoD this morning ;) who knows I might even do something off todays list :p

Welcome Morganlf - start small. Don't try and do it all at once. Select one flat surface and clear that of stuff. Do another a bit later. Then another a bit later. It's a variation on the AnW'smum dot to dot (TM) approach
