Cancelling Vodafone Contract ?

Hi

I have a current Vodafone contract for my mobile and TWO 3G dongles.

Whilst I want to keep the mobile contract, I need to cancel the 2 dongles which were set up under separate contracts.

When I last spoke to Vodafone about this, they suggested that I would have to pay up the contract to cancel on both?

Is this correct.

Can I not simply give notice to cancel (30 days in writing I believe) without paying up?

If you're under contract, you must pay the early termination fee (your monthly bill multiplied by however many months remain).

e.g. 13 months left to run on an 18 month contract at £15/mo your ETF would be 13x15 = £195. If you want to do both, then it's twice that. If you're outside your minimum term, then 30 days notice is all you need to give.

Yup, you've agreed to a legally binding contact. You can pay off the remaining term or, if you can, find someone else to take it over.
If you could just cancel a contact whenever you like no business could operate...
