I went in May & Nov last year. May a little too hot but bearable, Nov idyllic - 27C air temp, 25C sea temp.
Flat was under £40k fully furnished - they rent it out 11 months and pay me - I use it 1 month and still make 8% plus appreciation. I might buy another. PM me if you want more info.

Thanks, may well contact you re other visits, but in October we're after some pampering hence wanting a 5* hotel....it will be the only holiday we probably have without the kids (they're going on holiday with their dad the same fortnight)
I think we've more or less decided on the SAS Radisson (not the all inclusive sister hotel as it has bad reviews)

Yes, its nice to be waited on while on hol.
The SAS Radisson is a long way from Naama Bay which is where the action is and where there are plenty of 5 star hotels. The Hilton Fayrouz, Marriott, Movenpick Jolie Ville to name a few.
This is a good site to get an idea:

I would book that.I have checked and we cannot do any cheaper which must mean it is cheap.I am a Travel Agent
My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are 6042/K2950. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. ATOL numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0 -
Thanks bbruce - checked out most of the 5* ones and they're a lot more expensive - probably because of the more central location. TBH we stayed right in the centre last time and we're not too bothered about being in Nabq - I doubt we'll go into Na'ama bay every night and when we do, there's always the shuttle bus or taxis

The only better deals are available from Russian travel agents if you fly from Moscow, which is probably why the place is crawling with them!
They can match your pound figure in dollars!

No no no no no!! 2 flights per holiday is more than enough for me thanks - I detest flying, it scares me to death so would rather pay double than have a 2 flight journey each way!!

LOL, reminds me of the boat trip we did to Ras Mohammed (sp?)....I think we were the only English ones on board....the Ruski's made us laugh - it was 10 in the morning and they were eating orange quarters....laced with a litre bottle of neat vodka!!
