I like how the enterprise is cheaper than the standard and pro versions... something amiss! I bought mine from the ultimate steal too!

My university (southampton uni) is part of MSDN which provides us with 5+ XP licenses (allows us to choose one for each SP etc) as well as Vista and I assume Windows 7 will also be on there upon it's release!

I wonder will they be offering Windows 7 and Office 2010 though? I imagine it will still be the old versions considering its due back before they are officially released.

sassie-lassie Why don't you just wait until September to find out what software you need. You find out loads of info during freshers week about what you will and wont need. :beer:

Thanks for your various suggestions. I got exactly what I needed from Software4students, the guy I spoke there to was really helpful and I'd never have found them without your help.

Waiting until September simply wasn't an option!!
