Orange Care
not sure whether to post this in the insurance or mobile forum
2 months ago i renewed my contract and got a new phone with the intention of flogging it, which i did, as my old phone was better.
now its not long before my phone is going to perish, there are some water damage marks from using it in the rain, plenty of scratches from general wear and tear, the battery casing is coming off easily and my camera won't work anymore.
If i were to take out orange care, would it be a problem that my phone isn't the one i'd received as part of my new contract? would it be a problem that i'd actually bought it second hand? and should anything happen to it eventually, would the old damage affect my claim?
basically would it be a waste if i got it?

Orange Care only covers the handset that was issued with your contract or upgrade, so even if you took it out, you wouldnt be able to claim on it0

if your new phone is the upgrade on the same contract then i dont see orange covering it
the smart orange customer gets their phone replaced then gets the new upgrade phone

okay thanks for the advice above, i did call to just double check but you were right, it is just for the phone that came with the contract0
