Hello.....

I am okies girlies.

Felt a bit crummy for a few days after last post on here, had a couple days where still text the ex and then I stopped.

London was good. Lots of drinking and dancing. So didn't want to come home.

Not done much else apart from working and seeing friends.

HE text me today though....after I managed ten days, was just casual but wish he hadn't really as don't see the point in asking me how I am...

No sorry hun I am not that strong and wanted to seem civil.

Just sent a few texts back and forth saying I was ok and so were cats and asked him if he had spoken to his mum, he said yes he had told her she wasn't helping things but didn't have a go at her and then I text back with okies best let you get on with rest of your day take care and he sent a message back saying you too.

Yeah well I have been thinking a bit and I don't want to get back with him anymore (which is good as he didn't want too anyway!), yes I still love him and miss the little things but it wouldn't work cos he would never give me or the relationship what it would need.

I do wish he hadn't text me though and hope he won't again.

Its taken me 3 months to get to this stage though. I am just hoping he won't text me again or that I don't bump into him and a future girlfriend as I know that will kill me although to be honest hes a lovely guy but I know how much hard work they will have with him as I doubt hes going to turn into someone who cooks,cleans and suddenly wants to grow up overnight :rolleyes:

I need to start making decisions on my future though.

I have nothing holding me back apart from the cats though, and I love them lots and will not give them away but they are a bit of an obstacle when it comes to moving away/travelling.

Its horrid not knowing what to do with your life, this time last year I thought I knew where it was heading

Yes, but exciting too! Would your Dad not take the cats for a while if you went travelling? And if you moved, they could move with you, cats are very adaptable

Yeah he would have them for me now I am sure as he doesn't have his own cat anymore sadly as she died about six weeks ago

He adores my two, I call him Grandad to them :rotfl:

I would miss them like crazy though, I missed them when I went to London for two nights! Izzy has got very clingy though since the split, she used to ignore me as she adored my ex but now shes on my lap every second she can be, don't want her thinking I am abandoning them

But I know I can't have them hold me back.

Have some fun starting to make plans - doesn't matter if in the end you decide to stay where you are (I live about 2 miles from when I lived at home :rolleyes:), the point is you have only got what you want to consider - that's real freedom
