I can understand that and I really think this is a pivotal point in you moving on. Accepting that it is over is possibly the hardest part in my eyes.

Yeah i knew i needed to see him one last time and it did help me realise it was over.

I am sure I am still going to feel rubbish at times too especially if i hear the envitable has happened but i am realising the no contact thing is for the best.

Of course you will its only natural. I am almost a year down the line and I still have bad days. You don't love someone for that length of time, live with them, plan futures together etc etc to just get over them.

The old saying is so right, but time is a great healer.

We are both fine thanks. Having a good week so far, feeling very positive about things at the moment. DD asthma seems to be under control at the moment, she has to have her inhalers twice a day but I would rather that than her having breathing problems.

Winter is probably going to be difficult with her, so need to get her lots of vests, scarves etc and try and keep her from getting a cold, as soon as she does it goes to her chest.

Glad you are feeling better, think the no contact thing works. I completely cut off contact with my ex before my OH and we actually became friends a couple of years ago and still talk because I was able to get over him easier. I am not saying don't ever contact him but the less you do the more you will be able to get on with things. You are doing great anyway!

I agree with doodledo 100%. I'm 4 years down the line now and I'm totally over my ex. I must admit it took me over 2 years to be 100% over him and we were only together 2.5 years!!
I understand everything you're going through and it's completely normal. You sound like you're doing great and taking each day as it comes so just carry on as you are and it will get easier.

Thanks Wendz and Bowski, I am pretty sure we won't ever be friends though, i am not the type of girl and think we were together too long for that, i am too emotional and jealous also :o

I am defo taking each day as it comes, i actually feel a bit guilty for not having cried for 3 whole days and actually not feeling depressed, may sound weird, i dunno.

Doodle make sure you wrap up DD then, when i was a kid my asthma used to be bad in winter.
