I received my cheque today from Hachete Filipachi for the £14.50 they took out of my bank account on the 12th of December for the Psychologies sub, took its time but we got there eventually!

    I'm worried now
I subscried to Phsychologies (think it was either 3 or 6 issues for £1). Anyway just rang the Bank to cancel the Direct Debit (only had 1 issue sent so far) and they couldn't find any Direct Debits for £1. I asked them to read me a list of Direct Debits going out and how much they were - they said one has gone out to 'Hachete Filipachi' for £14.50
    I am soooo angry!!!
Could someome please give me the tel no for Psychologies/Hachete Filipachi so I can give them a piece of my mind and get my money back!

    Thanks,

Just rang Filicrappy and they said they are sending me a cheque for £13.50, which should be with me in the next 14 days (or so!).

Also cancelled my DD, but couldn't be bothered to tell Fillicrappy that.

  • My 3 for £1 magazines are coming to an end and I wondered if anyone could help me. Is there a limit on how many times you can do these offers, ie. can i do the same magazine on the same 3 for £1 offer?? Thanks in advance!

    WH Smith - magazine service
Earlier this month, after my third copy, I promptly cancelled a 3 for £1 each of Digit magazine with WH Smith. Checking bank statements I found that they had taken off two payments in Nov and Jan of £5.70 each - so £11.40 instead of the £3 deal. Spoke to them and they will now credit the difference but it's worth combing through your statements if you took out a WH Smith offer. (apologies if this has been posted before - big thread)

Anyone received the Liz Earle set from marie claire? When i first subscribed, the email confirmed the offer but the letter did not. I called them and a staff told me my offer didn't come with a gift. I insisted that I have the email and she went off for a while and told me my gift was posted yesterday (that was nearly 3 weeks ago)! I don't think the staff have a clue about what is going on!

I've not received the Liz Earle either but can't find the e-mail info of who it was with and when I took it out. Liz Earle offer an excellent service so I'm sure it is the magazine sub people. I'm fairly sure I'm not getting this one.
  • Marie claire seem to do this quite often, I was due to get prescriptives eye stuff through them, and IPC and the magazine group are both denying all knowledge of the offer...

Did you cancell the direct debit? If so they shouldn't have been able to take it out of your bank.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
