Im really stressed, my OH subscribed to Evo mag from the mag thread on here a month or so back, and he sent an email to cancel (as sugested on here again) but they have taken over £20 out of our account now...does anyone know how to contact them via email?

You should always cancel the direct debit with your bank too - don't rely on them cancelling it! I do it online - takes a few seconds. Here is the number of Dennis Publishing 0845 126 0395 - give them a call and explain that you cancelled via email but they will probably also tell you that you should have cancelled your DD with the bank aswell. You should get a refund. Good luck!

    Hi Minty
I have the e-mail confirmation about this:
    "Item: Marie Claire
    Quantity: 1
+ FREE magic invisible line smoother
This will appear on your credit card or bank statement as: IPC Media"

It was done through the Magazine Group.

I'll give them a chase up as well.

Let me know how you get on. I've e mailed the magazine group too, but no reply yet.

My Prima mag sub went up this year and I want to cancel it but the Magazine group said I have to write to Tower House?

Does anyone know a phone or fax number for them please?

I received the straightners, you're not missing out at all, yhey pull your hair-not good! Like others have said, you probably are better selling the cream on eBay and using the cash from that towards purchasing a better pair. Shame I tried mine out, doubt they would sell on eBay or I'd be able to give them away now
    The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Re: Marie Claire 3 for £1 with the free line smoother thingie.

I'd forgotten all about it until reading this thread - I haven't had mine either. Will chase up and let you all know how it goes. Thankfully have still got my confirmation email. :)

I've got nowhere . IPC don't know what I'm talking about and the magazine group just say you need to speak to Marie Claire.

    Hi
I emailed Magazine Group, they said send us a copy of your order, I sent that to them, but I haven't heard anything since. I'll have to chase them up, and try IPC again

  • I am really fed up about the psychologies 6 for £1 and them taking £14.50. I rang in the new year to magazine group and was told a cheque would be sent out. None materialised so I rang again - Oh no you want to ring Hachette Filipacci - so I did - Oh you need to write in! I said no and then mysteriously she changed her mind and filed in a form for Finance. 'Some one from this dept. will ring you back to tell you when the cheque will be issued!' she said - well I will believe it when I hear it or see the cheque.

Why is it that everyone makes so many mistakes and I have to chase them up at least twice. I regularly have to chase people up for c**k ups that they have made. Is it just that I am a glass half empty kind of girl!

    Rant over thanks for listening!!
