I am just SOOOOO excited. I have only been using ths forum a short time and already i have had

    -liz earle skin care set
    -gatineau body set
    -origins ginger set
    -elemis set

Wow! Its just the most exciting thing. i didnt even think i would get the origins set as i set the subscription to start in december. If i cancel it now even with the 12months contract do you think therel notice. Maybe i could just say i never recieved the gift and thus was disappointed with their service so decided to cancel?!?!?! maybe?

Iv noticed there is a pattern with the gifts i seem to be recieving! They are all sold on QVC! Gosh i love QVC best place ever for beauty products!

    Thanks

    J
  • Can anybody help with this, I subscribed to 2 magazines but changed my mind and cancelled the direct debit, I have in the meantime received the freebie gifts, does anybody know if I will have to set the direct debit up or is it their fault for sending the gifts out before the 1st payment is taken out of my account

I personally wouldn't take too much advantage of these offers. Getting, say, 3 issues for £3 plus a gift, and then cancelling after you've paid the £3, is fair enough. However, cancelling before you've paid anything and keeping your gift is a bit cheeky - I wouldn't make a habit out of it.

And I certainly wouldn't think that lying about not having received your gift is a good idea. Let's face it, these offers are great anyway, without having to take the mickey.
  • I didn't mean to be cheeky, I thought the payment would be taken before the gifts arrived, so I was surprised when they turned up, what I wanted to know is if I should set the Direct Debit back up and can I get into trouble because I have received the gifts

You can't reset the direct debit up yourself! It's something that they have to do.

Best thing to do is to call them and ask them what they want you to do with the gifts. If they then want to reset it up, they can rerequest from their end.

  • Can anybody remember what the free gift was with the Cosmopolitan subscription? I signed up about two months ago now for 3 issues for £3 and a free gift only I never recieved the gift and I can't for the life of me remember what it is/was?

Also, if anyone has a contact number for them, that would be useful.

    Many thanks.
  • I'm currently looking for any subscriptions to any magazines really for ladies, i.e Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, RED, anything really. Does anyone know of any really good offers whilst going through QUIDCO? The cheaper the better or any good freebies to put away as presents!

    Thanks!
