    Hi moondancer
Thanks for the FT link. I was a subscriber for many years, but been a more erratic reader since I had my son. Its better than their previous offers when you've had to pay upfront and then apply for a refund. Do you know anyway to adjust the address and get this deal through quidco? (Cheeky, I know!). The Dennis publishing link says it will be a revolving range of offers- but its always 'Men's Health'!
    Thanks

Lol! I'm cheeky too coz I'm trying to get these through Quidco tas well. I've done a couple today by amending the browser address but so far nothing is showing in my Quidco earnings. Maybe it is only tracked if it goes through the Dennis Publishing shopping basket route same as Mens Fitness does.

    Update.

If you go into the Magazine Group via the £4.80 cashback offer you get to the Ideal Homes offer page. Type Fortean Times into the search box at the top of the page and it takes you to a 3 issues for £3 offer! HERE

    £3 - £4.80 cashback = £1.80 + 3 free mags. icon10.gif

Thank you! Had to go to A-Z of mags as the search never seems to work for me there. Didn't realise they supplied FT too. Shame I don't get the mags for £1 too- nevermind!
I don't get mags just for the bit of cash, but sometimes just for a freebie- this 1 I'll actually enjoy!
  • Got my Molton Brown goodies yeaterday - sadly a bit battered looking as they were packed loose in a big jiffy bag - have emailed customer services to see what they'll do ... u never know :)
  • Haymarket publishers have taken the Eve sub out of my account today, lets hope that means the gifts are being posted

Is it possible to cancel after the 3 months at £3? I'm not sure because it says minimum subscription term is 12 months.

yes, you are covered by the direct debit guarantee" which entitles the consumer to cancel at any time, so legally - yes, whether you think that it is ethical to take the freebie and cancel is a matter for your own conscience.

I think you can try the same thing for any of the offers. I usually just check to see if the mag I want is on Quidco and if it is, change the browser entry.

Can't think of any other than the BBC ones at the moment.

    Edited to add:

I've had a go to see if this works.

Just tried to get Now magazine with the L'Oreal Professional gift for £13.95, I have gone in through the Quidco (IPC Magazines) route and then amended the browser to show the offer, so will I get 10% cashback or do I have to go through the original IPC checkout for the Quidco tracker to work?

I will let you know if anything shows up on the Quidco tracker.

Ichanged the browser to BBCShop yeasterday and did the gardening and Good Homes mag and they've tracked ok.

Will try some more I think

I may be wrong but I think that yes you can cancel your DD but the magazine will argue that you have agreed to a 12 month sub and want their money some other way.

i only sub to mags that have no minimum subscription for safety.

    Thanks Hillary,

    That is what I feared!

Unfortunately, on the previous advice I have already subscribed!

I will call later and see if I can cancel before anything is sent out to me.

Legally speaking I think this is incorrect.
You CAN cancel your direct debit at any time, but you still legally owe the money because you entered into a legally binding contract.

Whether RED would bother taking you to court is a different matter - they may well not bother enforcing it as it's too much hassle for them.
