Magazine offers - DISCUSSION THREAD ONLY

Really annoyed by Glamour. Emailed them AGAIN about missing perfume, and what they are likely to do as my money has already come out. They have sent me an email saying that:

'Unfortunately I am unable to offer an alternative gift if the original does not arrive. '

So that's it then is it? Everyone else gets offered extra magazines and I get precisely nothing. I have asked what steps I need to take to cancel my subscription as this was not something offered to me and I doubt the perfume will turn up now. Like Glamour mag but don't like the way i've had to chase them and they've taken my money anyway. Anyone else know what you should do when the money has already gone?

The Pixi Lip Set was with Elle magazine, found my list at last. Just got to cross-reference everything with payments now.

I am trying to find an offer for New Scientist and do not want to pay £79 for 51 issues.

Any ideas anyone?

Might it be a bit early? I can't get this to come up even typing in myself.
Also have checked the Essentials offer that I posted (nail stuff) but it doesn't come up with the £3 bit- they want £10 something. I've got the mag and it says £3...?

I ordered New Scientist through Quidco which gives you £4.80. I took the offer for 13 issues for £19.75. I havent decided yet whether I will then cancel and reorder another 13 issues through Quidco after two months.

I received mine last Tuesday. They came via a courier.

Yes it might be a bit early. I suggest that if anyone wants the new deals they should try every day on the internet or phone them up as it is important to be one of the first to subscribe as they are now all putting in conditions that the free gift is only available to the first X number of applicants!

Im still waiting for mine

phoned 01858 438838 them as my sub was taken out on 27th feb, d/d on 27/3/06
They said gift was sent on 28th feb - I cant believe that
They are looking into it and I should hear/receive gift in 10 days

After emailing them 7 - 10 days ago I got my original source goodies from Essentials mag by courier today
