I've now also been told I'm not entitled to the free gift ( which is especially annoying as I was the OP!) Apparently I will get it when the subscription carries on to the £17.20, which it won't do 'cause the mag is a load of rubbish! I sent them the e mail I got and they agree it's very misleading as it does not say that at all so I'm now in the process of sending off an angry letter!

My OPI kit turned up this morning (can't remember which mag it was from ).

Had intended to stop nail biting so maybe this will give me the push I need.

just had a postcard saying they are out of stock on the benefit stuff and will send it when it comes back in stock .

i think we will , at least they have acknowleged that we did have the subscription and gift so im hopeful

I don't understand why some people are getting the benefit stuff postcard and some aren't?

Is it me or are the publishing companies getting wise to our devices! I think I might lay low on any new subs for a while because i would hate to get lumbered with a sub-standard magazine for a year.

mintymoneysaver, I would call them. I sent the confirmation email to prove that I was entitled to the gift, and got the same response as you - 'not entitled until you pay the second DD'. So I called them. They are a lot less brave on the phone, and agreed to send me the gift. I got the impression that the people who do the emailed replies are a lot more harsh!

Today I got the postcard saying they are out of stock and they will send when more come in. I'm hopeful, like Janiebaby, that we will eventually get them. And your right, the magazine is rubbish!

I have just e-mailed them, am in the same situation as yourself and will pursue it - was not made clear that you had to wait until 2nd DD came off, no other mags do this - usually get the gift before your first mag!
