Is this the benefit offered with In Style last month? Or the Elle one?
After enquiring about the one from In Style, I was told that the offer I applied for didn't have a gift.
It did, so I kicked up a fuss and now they say they are sending one - but I'm sceptical because the've sent two letters with conflicting statments. When I've called they say to ignore the letters.

Has anyone recieved the Hugo Deep Red from Marie Claire yet?

me again , still waiting for benfit set , anyone got theres yet ??

Phoned today about this free gift . Apparently they only order the free gifts to be sent out once they have collected your direct debit. They sent the order to the warehouse on 15th April so it will be 28 days from then.
Got the metallics body shop gift with glamour today 7 days after ordering subscription. Subscribing through isubscribe is always the quickest.

Has anyone taken up a 6month sub and cancelled... I was looking at an EVE offer where it offers 6 months / 6 issues for £6 + Urban Decay Eye Shadow.

    The info says:
Direct debit offer of 6 issues for £6 is then followed by payments of £14.85 every 6 issues (saving 25%).
Minimum subscription term is 12 months. Promotional items packaged with the magazine may not be included with this subscription.

I just wondered if anyone had managed to cancel within the 6 month period?:)

Hi, personally I have never taken a subs that clearly states 12 months for fear of having to pay the 12 months. But I know others have and cancelled after the initial payment (not sure of the follow-up). I prefer not to risk it, since I normally don't value the magazines that much and there is a risk that the gift will be out of stock and replaced by something else (do you remember the Lindt fiasco?). Often with these subs the gift is relatively valuable, so it is reasonable if they try to force you to pay for 12 months to compensate for the gift (but this is just my opinion). Personally, I stick with trial offers. However if the gift is worth more in value (for you) than the 12 month subs, it is still a good bargain, if for some reason you cannot cancel. If not, that depends on how much you want to gamble.

However some time ago I did a risk free offer with myfavouritemagazines where they said it was 12 months, but you could cancel after your 2 issue by letting them know. So there are cases where the cancellation is possible as part of their T&Cs.

I hope others who have done 12 months and cancelled before will be able to share their experiences on this.

I applied for the sub with Benefit free gift, they sent me the first issue of the magazine yesterday, no Benefit set or explanation but instead a pair of naff gold flipflops which do not fit me. Very unimpressed.

I think the flipflops were a freebie with that issue of the magazine (it mentions them on their website).
The free subscription gifts are normally dispatched seperatley.
    Hope you get it soon
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
