there is a little gadget looks like akey ring that you put one sim into and it copies the contacts put the new sim and it will trnsfer them over, or you can go to most of the networks shops and they have them there and will do it for you

This looks like exactly what I need for copying my old contacts over - but try and sign up after I put in all my details it wants me to pay £24.99 - is there a free membership option? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If your old phone supports it, the easiest way to transfer these across (especially if they're not on the SIM, or have more than one data per contact) would be to sync your old phone with your PC (Outlook if you have office, or find a free alternative to Outlook) and then sync your iPhone with your PC. I use 3-4 different handsets a month on my work number and this has been the only way to keep everything sensible
