Can this O2 offer be beaten?

I have am currently on a SIM only tariff which provides me with 200 x network mins and a 1000 texts for £25. I have been running a bill of 30 -45 pounds on average and have had the SIM only for 6 months. I was attracted by the t-mobile flext and rang O2 for my PAC number. I have told they could do me the following:

400 x-net mins and 1000 texts for £30 (12 months contract)

or

750 x-net mins and 950 texts for £25 (18 months contract)

Both come with a Samsung D600

Which deal sounds the best and is the best you think I will get?

Cheers

10 months ago I got 750 x-net mins and a D500 and a Bluetooth headset for £15.00 a month, not sure if they still do it though?. When I start again in June, not sure what they will offer to keep me for another year?.

No texts in the offer, but it is only a 12 month contract.

Nothing wrong with that, but I'd still have a look at the flext 35 cashback deals - as if you don't mind getting a more basic or reconditioned phone - you may get it cheaper

Flext is a very good deal but if you find something better remind this -

if your calling/texting usuage changes a lot in a month, you won't get stung so hard (if at all) with flext.

I had two very good deals with Orange for two years in a row from retentions ... and no matter what (sod's law) i always took either my minutes or texts over the limit and paid through the nose.

Just got to the end of my 1st month on flext and I still have £30 of calling credit left :) I'd rather waste 15% of my calling credit on Flext 35 then go over on a fixed tariff.

I got £300 cashback on E2Save, who matched The Link for me. D600 phone. Use quidco and perhaps save a little more.
