HELP - Orange Contract Phone Return
Hi I went into an orange shop after seeing the phone i wanted very briefly on the internet. I explained to the manager who served me that it was a sony ericsson, pink, c something. Which was all i could remember. He comes out with this phone which fair enough looked amazing. So i just automatically assumed it was the one i wanted.
It was only a little shop so i didnt really look around. Now after to going into the bigger store i have seen the phone i wanted. It was not the one the other store manger had given me. Im am extremly annoyed and now am being told via websites that i can't take it back. I don't want to cancel the contract, just change the phone. Is this possible after having the phone for 2days.
Please help me in what i can say or do. I thought that by law there should be something i can do. Thanks all.

There no 'cooling off period' for anything bought in store, that's only for sales online or over the phone where you can't see what you're buying.
If the manager showed you the phone I don't see you've got much of a chance of changing it. You could contact the manager or failing that his area manager and see if either of them will do anything.
There's no point calling CS as they have no control over the stores (they're run separately and CS don't even have access to their systems).0
