i think i made a boo boo when applying sainsbury credit card

i had a sainsbury credit card i closed back in january i re applied on the speacial code on purchases for 12 months and my application was rejected
i have a halifax card 1 month left on 0% which i droped the limit down to 500 and a hsbc card which i also droped down from 2000 to 1000 nerver missed a payment and no problems

Maybe it is because you applied again too soon after closing original account. I had an account with mint ant they closed it and said I could not reopen another one for either 6mths or a year I can't remember which. Try ringing the customer helpline they will tell you if you can re-apply after closing an account.
