Thanks for the tip.
I applied over the phone and got my card. I would say that they don't volunteer the 12 month offer. They offer the 10 month product and if you accept that, that is all you will get.
You have to say that you read that if you apply by phone and quote the code put in the thread above you recieve 12 months. This is what I did and sure enough I received 12 months free.
Good tip, thanks again.0 -

i cant believe it, they have just knocked me back for this card!!! ive never had a single application turned down, have never missed a single payment on anything, have tons of excellent credit history, own my own house, earn 21k.......... i just cant understand it... unless applying for a different card last night has screwed it up! it may be cos they are both under the HBOS title. anyone care to comment???0

According to their website it says the following
"and 5.94% p.a. for the life of balance transfers made in the first six months" So i think you may be right Simon.
Incidentaly on their wbsite they tout the card as 0% for 12 months on purchases too.

thats strange, i wonder why they suddenly changed it to 12months
so we dont need the code anymore.
For those who have applied and got the card.
what Limit have they given?
I need £5K for a car and would like to see what everyone else has been given. a friend only got £2500
also what the diff between the standard & platinum card?0
