I currently get my broadband and line rental both through Talk Talk. Is it possible for me to move my broadband elsewhere but keep the Talk Talk line rental for the phone?
Or will I have to go back to BT?

Yes providing your min term has expired you can move your BB,and keep your line rental etc with TT.
I am not sure why you would want to do that though. If its cheaper calls, and possibly cheaper line/call package rental your after see this post by Heinz, which covers the issue.
