Hi all
Oh Caz, today sounds amazing, what an emotional rollercoaster for you and OH, you take care this weekend, how lucky you must feel to have been part of this persons life.
Gotta ask the question-Lurky and Honeybear-which one of you is wearing the heels? You look amazing by the way-what a goodlooking bunch we are.
Totally confused by the foreign language lessons-I'm ashamed to say I hardly know any languages- but even more ashamed to say I can ask for '2 beers please' in nearly every country. Being on here the last few days has been a bit like going to an Adult Education language evening class- except everyones a struggling drinker-bizarre!!!! Perhaps thats what we should do to distract ourselves during the long evenings- get on here and have a different 'educational' theme every night and learn some new skills- we're obviously a talented and interesting bunch I'm sure we can do a bit of 'virtual learning' to keep us occupied? Anyone fancy a bit of philosophy? Or perhaps philately? (sp) I see theres a great thread on here doing just that-er, but its the 'how to make homemade beer/wine' thread and perhaps its a good idea if we all steer clear? Any ideas to keep us distracted in a positive way anyone?
Fay-sounds like you played a blinder- enjoy relaxing tonight, well done.
Sorry if I've missed people, I try to catch up at least once a day but everyones so chatty at the moment its hard to keep up, but best of luck to everyone, catch you later.0 -
DD1 has promised to bath the dogs so they'll be smelling sweet later!:D
Had to cringe at the dog bathing, when I was drinking my OH told me his parents were coming round so when he was at work could I bath the dog cause he was a bit smelly-anyway got stuck into have loads of wine, woke up about 30 mins before they were all due to arrive-hadn't done it, panicked, so got a bottle of febreeze and sprayed the dog until he smelt OK-thought if it works on carpets it'll work on a dog, LOGIC (not). Anyway dog smelt lovely, OH was pleased I'd made the effort, dog spent the evening licking his fur furiously, until he threw up in the middle of dinner. Vets bill to get him checked out for poisoning cost me £90. Dog didn't speak to me for a week, OH 2 weeks, his parents never again. Just goes to show even the animals in this country can be affected by drinking- BHB take note, the goats have a hunch.0 -

Anyone else coming to the AF party??
Just had a glass mug of hot Ribena - surprisingly delicious and satisfying.
Urges all gone now - they certainly took some surfing tonight :T
I will feel pleased with myself tomorrow morning when I wake up unhungovered. I used to wake up on Saturday mornings wondering how bad the hangover was going to be and hoping for rain so I didn't have to play tennis
