    So that's now 2AFD please YM. I did feel quite anxious whilst having dinner and I think it's the desire to have a drink making itself heard- anyone else have that - feeling worried and stressed and actually it's just wanting a bit of wine? I feel it less now that I am sure I am not going to have one, but it has bee harder than I thought.
    Someone tell me it gets easier as the days pass - please! As Retired alcoholic said - it is baffling.

    I am going away for the weekend tomorrow evening so that might be a tricky time. Tomorrow itself is probably OK but Friday, saturday and sunday evenings might be a challenge. I'm visiting my sister who's breasdtfeeding her LO so she should be booze free (noone else will be I expect).

    Have a nice end to the evening everyone.

    I'm no expert but I don't know that it does get easier this quickly, if it all :confused: But I think the important thing is acknowledging each AF day as an achievement within itself & those days are something you can draw strength from :)

    I have kept busy today, I've been mystery shopping in the next town, done the reports and cleaned the house so this is the first time I've sat down!
    I haven't had a drink today, and don't want one either, so I'm going to watch crimewatch (no wonder I have weird dreams!) and then get an early night.

    Goodnight everyone x

  • Be OK Champions league football will be on soon on a Wednesday. That is the reason Corrie was moved permanatly to a Thursday ;)

    ym

    :rolleyes::rolleyes: I hate football :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Get them to put on judo or tae kwondo instead :D ..... or even fishing :confused:, but not football :eek:
    I would rather watch a cow eat grass ...... and probably will :rotfl::rotfl:

    Last day of the pool today ..... emptying it tomorrow as in try MSE style am not going to heat it as it costs to much. Its been fine in the polytunnel until now, but with the colder nights the temperature has dropped to slightly less than 'comfortable' so will miss the beastie until next April :(
    5 out of 12 months not requiring heating was pretty good though hey?

    Officailly 2 days AF for me now YM :D:cool:

    Best Wishes
