With FOB you could save cost to as you know exactly what you are getting and what you are paying for. It can all be done online or through a agent in China. There is hassle at both ends lol.0

Everything arrived last week and was as stated, no damage so I am very happy.0

ok im dealing with a chinese manufacturer of boxes, im looking to order:
1000 pieces, sea $1.131 or $2.966 express
3000 pieces, sea $0.754 or $2.775 express
TOTAL
1000 £729 by sea or £1913 express
3000 £1459 by sea or £5370 express
SEA
this would be shipped to Felixstowe, and then be transferred to an agent in Birmingham who owns a warehouse when I would have to collect.
what other charges would I have to pay on top of this?
can anyone advise?0 -
I assume express is a door to door delivery service. Your only extras will be VAT, duty if payable and a fee for customs release.
If it is by sea you will have to pay the above but also a series of quayside and delivery charges.
On the shipment by sea I mentioned in a previous post no 14 I listed charges on a recent import from China0
