Wet & miserable Friday....

Beigey-grey linen trousers (Next sale last year £5!) - they're a bit tight across my thighs but I'm planning to "tone up" a little!
Pale grey v-neck T-shirt (primark
)
Beige / grey / teal / turquoise knit jacket (monsoon sale)
Cream slip ons (asda)
Staying at home this weekend, so no Cardiff bag today :T
Will try not to go near any sales as am a bit strapped - had to buy a new battery for my car, I have a family 50th next week and my car tax is due the week after
But I do have a couple of items to go back to charity shops tomorrow, so may just have a quick peek....

Hi glowgirl,
well, I love the term 'fashionista' in the fun sense we regulars understand it, but I read a post on the 'sick of being scruffy' thread the other day, recommending to the OP that she kept well away from the "fashionista" threads as they would make her feel worse
Just wondered if "what are you wearing today?" is a less daunting title....we know what we're all up to, but would hate any newbie be deterred because they think at first glance it's a thread for WAGS and ladies who lunch!
Know what I mean dahlings!!:rotfl:
EDIT to say...although I don't suppose many WAGs do MSE!!!0 -
Morning (just!) everyone!
Weather is decidedly miserable here this morning, so today's outfit is:
- Blue crochet cardigan (Dorothy Perkins, £13 down from £25 in the sale)
- White scoop neck top (also Dorothy Perkins, £5)
- Blue tartan look slouchy knee length skirt with floral patterned waistband (Dorothy Perkins again, also £13 in sale)
- Brown pirate style mid calf boots (New Look, £25 about five years ago - I really need new boots but I love these ones too much to part with them, even if they are starting to look a bit scruffy and battered now!)
- Usual jewellery (silver initial necklace, silver watch, silver and diamond ring, amber and silver earrings, silver bracelet with black and pearl beads)
- Usual brown bag
- Electric blue trench coat (not wearing it now though, was just to get to the office!)

It's not raining yet and I'm off on the town tonight, hurray!
Must be giving off a strange attracting scent today as I've had a few guys hit on me in town. Quite an advantage really as I've had a half price baguette, let into the baths for half price and got some bargains off my favourite market stall.....being a flirt has it's advantages.
Been for a swim and a quick trot around the shops this morning.
Today's outfit:
Tobacco batwing slouch top with gathered sleeves and off the shoulder (ex-Bay Trading £1.99 market stall selling overmakes)
River Island skinny jeans cut off below the knee and turned up (10p jumble sale)
Schuh tan leather ankle boots with concealed platform and 6in heels (£5 market stall)
Vintage tan leather belt (79p chazza shop)
Big bangle with mirrored pieces and copper inserts (Indian street market)
Accessorize dark brown wood cuff (30p car boot)
Indian silver tribal rings
Vintage tribal collar in cream and brown wood with tiny silver beads (£3.25 chazza shop)
Bamboo hoop earrings (50p chazza shop)
Hugely massive yellow patent shoulder bag (car boot buy yesterday £2)
Welcome back, Tara!
Bronnie "what are you wearing today?" sounds much more friendly (and may attract a few lurkers, too)
Great bargain esmecullen....can see I've got competition!!
Piratefairy...I'm liking your style
GrammarGirl......have one for me :beer:0 -
