Boots Thread??

i dont see what the fuss is all about, i know many of you have become friends but at the end of the day we are all on here for a bargain or offers. I among many of others didnt like having to trawl through endless pages just to find an offer. It was always going to be a better idea, and reach more people, to post on each thread. I have posted a few deals on the boots thread but was more of a lurker from time to time, my posts got lost among lots of personal messages, many of others have also done the same. I am looking forward to the new threads and i know my friends and family are too. easier to spot a bargain when time on the computer is at a premium with running a home and kids.

Well I did find a glitch but don't think anyone was interested! Perhaps there were abusive messages left after I logged off and that's why the thread was closed, and perhaps that's why the glitch got lost.

I bought an anti-redess serum-the two products are £9 full price so quite the bargain

such a pity that the boots sticky has closed, that's one of the main reasons i log onto these forums. i understand why mse have made the decision they have - but i'd hope they review their decision in the run up to christmas.

the boots thread was amazingly helpful to many many people for christmas shopping and to find out about forthcoming offers - too many things going on at christmastime for individiual posts i would think?

After being apart of the boots threads for a number of years I am for one disappointed that it has finally come to this.

Myself and many other older posters just lurked and didnt post in the end, but I must admit I'm unsure on the broclo thing because in the end you could tell a post that contained an offer to one that didn't so tended to ignore the rest.

Little arguments about chat have been going on for years and quite frankly I don't blame the MSE team for closing it if what some of the posters are saying is true.

We are all suppost to be adults.

Adults don't behave in this way I'm afraid and you only have yourselves to blame.

Thats when they are not dealing with scaremongering about their baby expert wipes. A claim that was completely unfounded. Lots of Bootsers called Boots customer service about it and they knew nothing about it.

I know there have been a number of disagreements on Boots thread where broclo has been involved. There have been others spats where broclo hasn't been one of the posters.

CPG couldn't continue with the grabbit and broclo agreed to take over, I didn't realise that someone updating the first post would cause such trouble. You may disagree with broclo, you may not like her, you may of had huge spatts with her in the past but after broclo posted that CPG was busy dealing with life I don't know if anybody else offered to take over the first page. This isn't a ra ra for broclo. I don't know if I've missed posts since she started the grabbit thread that have caused it to be closed or if members have complained to the mods that they didn't want broclo updating the first posts. Updating those posts doesn't make anyone superior it's being helpful, and posters had been asking for it to be updated. Had broclo had of known that by helping CPG out the thread would get closed I hope that she wouldn't have taken it over.

The posts attacking broclo or attacking anyone help any thread, it will just get it closed down and no one will find any boots bargains.

If you don't want to join broclo's proboard don't, it's as simple as that, vote with your membership. If you want nothing to do with her, please have nothing to do with her.

If broclo has been under threat of being banned and is then abusive I'm sure she'll be banned, if she is under threat and hasn't done anything wrong then mse are saying she can continue. Once again this isn't just broclo it's anyone under threat.

Please let's not have any more nasty messages about anyone on this thread about anyone. Let's have a nice weekend.

I for one will miss the grabbit thread.

What a good idea butterfriends - maybe when the christmas catalogue comes out it would be an idea to do a thread for boots christmas bargains and glitches followed after christmas by a sale glitches and bargains. I'm sure the bargains will still get posted just in a different way.

I hope all is well with CPG with her dealing with life. Thanks for the past CPG hope to see you posting a boots bargain soon.

Anthea~turner - perhaps you should consider stopping typing fully in caps and re-posting your messages,
it's really not making your point come across well and you say you don't like bullying but thats what your posts sound like to me.
As someone thats watched and posted on Boots grabbits a fair bit i always thought it was a pretty good group, some differences of course but who gets on with everyone in real life?
Maybe we all just need to calm down a bit!
