Multimedia from abroad on Tesco Mobile

My daughter is currently in South Africa. I hae been told by someone at Tesco mobile that it is cheaper for her to send txts home via multimedia (25p) than using ordinary text (40p). However I can't find anything on their website stating this, and I like to see things in writing. Can anyone confirm that this is in fact true? Thank you
