Hello there,
I've seen a deal with Virgin that will get us flights to Orlando and accomodation at the Quality Inn International Drive for 7 nights.
Could anyone estimate how much would you expect to spend of food, drinks and park tickets for 7 nights? Would £1k cover it (It's 2 adults)
Can anyone offer any opinion on the Quality Inn International Drive? Is it near to attractions?
Many Thanks0 -

Can you pay on the door for disneyworld?, all I can see on the website is weeklong or more tickets for 223 each (10 year old is apparantly now an adult!). We're more interested in the other parks than disney so a grand for a day seems a little pricey.0

Hi, I booked flights to mco (orlando) in 2009/2010 and paid about £400 at easter both years. Im now trying to book for easter 2012 and it seems most flights are non direct and the direct flights are £1400 each:eek: Does that sound right??0

Any recommendations for hotels for non-drivers.
Want some free shuttles to parks, don't mind using the Lynx to disney but not for the late nights.
Does anyone know how much a hotel shuttle to Disney costs.
Also how much is a breakfast at Sizzler, Ponderosa etc.
Ive stayed at wyndham orlando twice and find its perfect for our needs. There is the i ride which takes you to sea world and the hotel has a free coach to universal. The best blocks in the hotel are blocks 10 and 11. There are really cheap places to eat too.0 -

Yes you can buy 1 day tickets at the ticket plazas at Disney, but they work out expensive if your planning on more than one day. They also want you to spend all of your time in their park, hence the mutliday tickets.
All of the other parks have one day tickets available: Universal, Seaworld and Busch, but again there can be better ticket options. The first thing is to plan what you want to see and take it from there.
If your buying a number of tickets you can sometimes do deals with resellers for a large purchases in the US or check prices with online sellers.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

Ouch, £1253 on Virgin from Man direct in economy, that sounds very expensive, £1400 sounds rediculous! That said this is late for booking, especially for peak periods like Easter. Depending how you want to travel, consolodated prices go on sale 11 months from the return dates and that is ofetn the best point to buy at peak times.
We normally travel at easter and haven't paid those kind of prices for premium with Virgin. All the airlines increase prices as the number of available seats reduce. Its doubtful that you'll get last minute bargains for easter.
Might be worth trying some flight brokers and get them to do some work for you.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

Its really how long is a piece of string as you can spend any amount you want too, from cheap and cheerful "all you can eat" to "high end don't ask the price". If 1K is your budget I have no doubt you can stick to that if you plan.
You need to decide which parks you want to see: for example a two day pass for Universal for two would be around £160 and estimate how much you'll be spending. That is based on gate prices, check the forums for cheaper tickets, but be aware 1 day tickets aren't often available away from the parks.
If your on I Drive its not too far to Universal and Seaworld, plus there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Most hotels have transport to the parks if needed. Disney is about 30 minutes from where your staying.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0
