My wife and I have been twice before but always with family including elderly relatives. We never really did much in the evening apart from go out to eat as they wanted to be in the villa in bed at 10pm.
This time we want lots of ideas of what we can do. We are staying in a hotel this time opposite wet n wild and have a car. It will be nice to do some things in walking distance so I can have a beer or two.
    Any ideas let me know.
    Thanks!

Hi my husband and i travel to orlando every year this time we did the parks but also did a bit of site seeing i would recommend driving up tp st augustine its about an 1 and a half hours drive but well worth it if u can stay the night here even better .this place has a lot of history great beaches great pubs lots to do. Defo did not work for me this year or for next years booking,VS told me I needed locator code.

It's strange Johnny, as I'm certain it did work for me. The reason I am so sure is exactly because I expected to need the locator number, but just put in my VH ref which started with W09 followed by some numbers.....

    This was in February.

ETA - I see I'm not going mad - Blue Monkey has also done it this way using the advanced search.

i remember using my vhols ref number a few years back ok,but for some reason it has not worked recently.
i have just tried again for next years booking using normal box and the advanced search still no joy.

maybe it depends on how you make the initial booking with vhols???

Help am a refugee from the Las vegas forum since having a baby this year! so now thinking of going to florida instead next year.
Has anyone been with a young baby (will be aged 1) any tips or hints or suggestions apprechiated. Have started to size up villa's as figured this would be easier but everything i am coming up is really expensive. Where is a good place to hunt for villa bargains?
    Thanks

My daughter was nearly 2 in march when I went and no problem at all the parks cater for adults and children of all ages.
As for villa prices depends on time of year I paid $900us for 2 weeks in condo at Bahama bay for sept next year.

Google the dibb loads of info on all things Disney on there

Have to admit, it took a while for me to get to work out how to do it. I think you have to put the /S10 in as well as the booking number but I was on mine about 2 months ago. You HAVE to go on there to fill in your Advance Passenger Info, which has to be done before you fly. Try it in all formats. Once I was on I could never get in it without going through the advanced option, it is also the lead name that appears on the booking.

Just realised we flew exactly one month ago today. Where does the time go?? Have to wait until May 2011 to book again.
  • can i just check do you have to pay parking to go to all the parks? even if you have a week pass
  • also can anyone give me a rough guide for daily expense ? for 2 adults to florida assuming going to a park every other day and eating in self catering at night ? i normally work on 100$ dollars a day in other places but do you think it would be more to florida?

You can easily do it on $100 a day for two adults.
