Hey, the Q&A is tough, but actually there are some very knowledgable people there too.

They say there's no such thing as a stupid question (here) but over there, there are plenty of people who deserve to get ripped to shreds! (And the rest... well either they have something to hide and don't like it being mentioned... or they say something stupid!)

True. There are a lot of knowledgeable posters there, but I personally feel that the "are you registered as a business seller" troll has got out of hand. I mean sure...if someone should clearly be registered as a business seller then fair enough, but too much grey area is trampled on with that war-cry.

    Oh my goodness..how awfully true.

I am going to bookmark that immediately!

I was particularly struck by no 7. That is something we get on some of the MSE boards, as soon as someone loses an argument they claim to be an important 'official'.The only thing I would add from personal experience is when someone posts to ask about virus's or hacked accounts and don't like the answers they get regarding their internet security they always claim to be 'computer engineers or experts' and that it isn't their fault at all they got infected.

Oh oh I am still reading and nodding away to myself here. I never knew that sort of poster had a name.

Knock yourselves out girls. None of that seems particulary revelationary to me. But then, I'm a high court judge. What would I know?

Hey hey M'Lud, leave me to my simple pleasures. I'm the most senior PC expert in the current Government (now if only I could work out what that mouse thingy does).

Meh! It's funny when you read a thread and the OP fits the template exactly.

The community boards are hillarious. No way should anyone ever post there without a posting ID and even if you are using one be prepared for someone to track down your listings anyway.

I love the community boards you see people post and think Oh Oh. Its like car crash television. You dont want to watch but you have to.
