Hi

I have just bought a new Sony Ericsson W980i with £10 from orange.
I'm already with orange and want to keep my same number. In the sim information pack it says that you can switch the number to the original on the new sim and transfer existing credit on the old sim card. If I do this will I loose my £10 credit on the new sim card?

Sorry if this is a bit confusing and long winded.

no need to switch sim cards, phone orange from your existing number, say youve bought a new phone and you want to transfer the credit you were forced to buy to your existing number.
I done it a couple of months ago

Your existing sim will work, but if it a few years old it may not be 3G (if that an issue for you?)
You can move the credit from the new sim to the old but you need the security info for both acc's. You should have a 4 digit code with the new one and a password and code for the old one. Call CS explain what you want to and give the security info for each acc and they'll move it for you...
