same problem here, spent all morning trying to get through then eventually when i did they said can only deal with enquiries cos all Pay As You Go systems are down and will be till 5pm, conveniently thats when the PAC department close for the day too, so another day without my number that should have been ported into Vodafone yesterday :mad:0 -
 Just goes to show how impatient some people are.0

what do you mean? impatient? lol - you have to joking, afterall, i'm paying for a service, surely its not too much to expect to be able to talk to someone and get your phone activated? i'm on a monthly contract at £40... cant use it! not my fault?Willow: I knew it, I knew it, well not in the sense of having the slightest idea, but I knew there was something I didn't know!0 -
Everything's the customer's fault with Vodafone. And THEY don't joke about it - just waste your time (hours and hours of it) getting absolutely no-where usually.0

I'm having problems with asda mobile (runs on vodafone network/billing system), since last friday, and cannot get through to anyone, no-one ever phones back when requested, and I've been told the system was down all day yesterday and still down today. I suspect system failed a lot longer ago, as I have been chasing this since last Friday (a week now), and even then they told me it would be fixed in a couple of hours.
Vodafone seem to have lost the plot - I hear they are withdrawing their 14 day cooling off period, which I thought was a legal requirement ?0 -

Legally you have a cooling off period for internet sales and those over the phone as you can't see what you're buying (DSR). When you go to a shop you can see the item and can use it, it's the shop period they're ending. No other network offers it...0 -
The DSR requires companies to provide 7 days from the point of delivery, which is what Vodafone have changed there policy to.
If you buy it from a Vodafone store however DSR (Distance Selling Regulation) does not apply as you can see the product before you buy it, therefore they have withdrawn the returns policy.
This all took effect from the 1st June 2009.0
