    Not sure about where the best place to get your currency is, but can I suggest that you use any money you saved to buy some more keys for your keyboard. It seems they're being rationed at the moment.

    I'd be very surprised if you can find anywhere to buy Bolivianos in the UK - and the rate will probably be terrible if you can find them. However, US dollars are very easy to change in Bolivia.

    ATMs are common in the major cities and many dispense a choice of Bolivianos or US dollars.

    As in most parts of the world, the cheapest way to get money is to use a fee-free card such as Santander Zero or Nationwide debit card.

    I took US to Bolivia, they were really eas to exchange (in banks, cambios and with street moneychangers) You can pay for some things with them anyway, especially in La Paz. You do need to make sure the notes are newish and untorn like the posted link says.
