    hi di

    just to update.

the fscs have responded to my letter and have emailed to say that they have provisionally established that my claim may fulfil criteria for further investigation. they are sending me an application form to fill in. i presume thta's what you did, is it just a q&a form?

don't know whether it's positive or not. guess will have to see what happens.

    thanks

    Hi there

    Hope your well.;)

That is good, so it's all moving forward then.
This is what I did and now it have been moved on to Deloittes, received the letter last week to inform us that the FSCS have now moved this on to deloittes, so this is what should happen with yours as well.

You have every chance, so not to worry.;)

    Please keep me posted, cheers.

don't know whether it's positive or not.

Its not any indication of likely success. It means that it falls under the FSCS remit.

    Hi there

I did not know anything about it being passed on to deloittes, it was because we received a letter last week from deloittes to confirm that the FSCS have passed this on to them.

I then heard from others on here who have claims with the FSCS that the same happens with their's as well in regards of another company, so this is new to me as well to be honest.

I take it they will investigate the complaints you have, just like what the FOS (Financial ombudsman service) would do.

As a year have passed since completing the form - I cannot recall on the questions, I think it was just basic questions of the product you are complaining of, details of the sale, why you think you lost out etc etc.
Just write to the best of your knowledge of what you can remember.;)

    Your welcome.;)

Don't worry you'll soon get the hang of it and good luck with yours as well, I will let you know of any updates and please do ask on any questions if required, when you receive your form.;)
