    I've been Money Tipped!
Wow anyone watching Daybreak? This woman had 19 miscarriages... she had endo, eventually had some pioneering surgery and has finally had a baby. How amazing.
    It's really really interesting.

Tea did it take you longer to recover? I had to have 2 weeks off work & it was the most painful unpleasant experience!!

I think I was off about 3 weeks last time, but I'd had a lot of work done in there! I usually take about a week off. I don't think the infection helped last time, definitely not pleasant!

peonie - hope you're recovering ok and the cuts are healing x.

Someone have a stern word with me. Have now convinced myself that a bit of spotting at 11dpo and the really sharp pains were implantation.

I know it's af on the way, I know that, so why does that b.itch hope get a foothold again?! Grr!

Peonie, I had my lap & dye in October (I have endo too) and got pg in the April. Hope that gives you welcome hope (rather than the irritating kind :o) Also, I used to do saltwater rinses on my scars to keep then clean and infection free - maybe try that? Hope you feel better soon

    Lucy, any news?

    Fingers crossed tea :o

Hope the appointment went well Tcd

When I had my lap and dye, the stitch came out of the hole in my tummy button. I didn't get an infection but I did end up with a really quite noticeable keloid scar, i.e. an overproduction of scar tissue leading to a raised thick scar.

What with an operation on my small bowel when I was a baby, the lap and dye and now a c-section scar, my stomach's like crazy paving :D

Hi Becca, it's my second lap. The pain is not too bad now, in comparison to endo pain I can cope with it. I can't do up my trousers as they rub the wound. I need to try walking a mile to see if I'm well enough to go to work then try to get a fit note to go back to work early.

Becca, me too! Most of my laps have been fine but 2 (out of 4) sets of stitches got infected last time. You have to look to see my scars, they're just tiny white lines.
From my first lap the scars are tiny and flat. This time they really bunched up the skin so all 3 stick out, especially at the belly button (I can only describe it as a mini mountain range) so it won't go down and the incision was a lot larger this time.

Yes it does give me hope and it's not irritating - lol.
